Kenai River Brownie
On my trip down to the Kenai Peninsula Saturday I came around the corner and bam, this guy was frolicking in the Kenai River looking for tasty Silver (Coho) or late run Red (Sockeye). Sat and watched for about 45 minutes. Nice treat, with the brownie and fall colors.

Morgan's HS Team 2nd in State
Photo of Morgan reaching home plate after a 3-run home run blast over the left field fence that helped the Chugiak Mustang High School girl’s softball team reach the State Championship game. East faced off with Chugiak three times in the state softball tournament Saturday, finally putting an end to the tug-of-war for the state title with a victory over the Mustangs in the afternoon finale. For her efforts Morgan was voted MVP of the game and eventually voted onto the all tournament team.
